All our advisers are professionally qualified in careers guidance, regularly undertake training to up date knowledge and skills and are actively involved in continuous professional development of the service.
Redundancy: Fear or Focus
This programme aims to address some of the fears surrounding redundancy and enabling individuals to move forward through a planned process. Typically this is delivered to groups of 12 or 15 employees on employer’s premises and will include the following:
The successful CV presenting yourself on paper
Writing letters and completing application forms
Job Search – the “hidden” job market and effective networking
Identification of skills and using transferable skills
Question and Answer Session
A follow up session is also provided to enable participants to have a confidential one to one discussion regarding their options. Telephone and email follow up can be arranged for further support if required.
