THIS IS A GENERIC VACANCY

Tasks: The successful applicant will work in the salon 4 days per week with day release to Andrew Collinge Training Centre, 9 Bold Street, Liverpool L1 4HF. Your duties will involve meeting & greeting clients, shampooing, removing colour and assisting stylists. Other duties will also include reception duties, working as a team work to maintain high salon standards and any other general duties.

Requirements: You be enthusiastic, self motivated, creative and dextrous, a good communicator and time-keeper. You must also have a keen interest in fashion and trends, have good levels of English and Maths.

Desirable Criteria: Saturday job / work experience in Hairdressing Salon, Hairdressing NVQ level 1 or the Hairdressing Diploma would be an advantage.

Training on Offer: City & Guilds Hairdressing Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeships, Hairdressing Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 2. Training will cover every aspect of hairdressing, cutting, blow drying, styling, tinting, colouring and perming. You will also learn about reception, retailing, and customer care. Continuous assessment in the Salon and day release at the training school

Key Skills/Technical Certificates: Functional Skills: As appropriate

Additional Information: This could lead to permanent full - time employment within the salon, and an opportunity to continue training with Andrew Collinge to achieved a Hairdressing Advanced Apprenticeship NVQ Level 3.
