IAG Advisers

Full time, 35 hours per week

£15,368 - £23,387 per annum

Greater Merseyside Connexions Partnership (GMCP) is a large vibrant and innovative charity. We are in the process of setting up a programme to expand the National Careers Service across the North West area. We are looking to recruit a peripatetic IAG Adviser to deliver the NCS offer across the North West HM Prisons to promote the service across this wide regional area. 

As an IAG adviser in Prisons you will be responsible for providing face to face impartial information, initial advice and guidance. The key focus of this important role is providing advice and the referral and placement of clients into learning and development. Also, to work with clients to broaden their career horizons, support their personal development needs to enable them to make effective decision and take positive action and progress into education, employment, learning and training opportunities.  You will need to hold a Level 3 qualification in Advice & Guidance or be working towards it.
