Careers Software
There are a number of software packages to help you gather information on Careers and to assist you when making decisions regarding which Career types may suit you. These are loaded onto Computers, you can look through the data
and print off information as required.
These Careers Software packages are provided at Connexions centres and in Schools and Colleges.
Some of these are :
- Kudos is an interactive Careers package supplied on licence from CASCAID, it asks a series of questions on work aspects, qualifications, and health. This then generates a list of possible suitable careers based on the answers.
It can also be used to gather general information on over 1,000 careers.
- Careerscape is a Careers information database supplied on licence from CASCAID, with information on over 1,500 careers together with photos and case studies.
- Keyclips is an interactive Careers information package supplied on licence from Nord Anglia Lifetime Development.
It can be used to gather careers and general information to help with your career choices. In addition if you are not
certain of which career you want it offers a quick match system which asks some basic questions on work skills,
work settings, qualifications, school subjects and people.This then generates a list of suggested careers
based on the answers.
