My achievements at Prince's Trust

I’ve just started a 12 week course with the Prince’s Trust in Southport.

It's my third week in and I've already made a lovely group of friends, everybody works well as part of a team. I was nervous starting this team but on the first week you play some icebreaker games so you get to know the rest of your team. We went on our residential last week to ST ASAPH in Wales and it was brilliant!Everyone helped each other overcome over their fears. I’m really feeling more confident with speaking as part of a group and have achieved things on this course already that I didn’t think I was able to do.

"OH YEAH THE STAFF ARE GREAT AS WELL"

It’s a really great opportunity for young people who aren’t quite sure what they want to do to meet new people and get qualifications such as first aid, basic food hygiene, health and safety, which are brilliant to have when looking for a job plus at the end of the 12 weeks you have a presentation evening where you get presented with a certificate of all your achievements. I don’t know how it feels yet because I haven’t finished the course but up to now the feeling is brilliant that I’m doing something that I will benefit from later in life.
