Charity Bike Ride
Warrington Road Youth Club Widnes Charity Bike Ride
A group of twelve young men from Warrington Road Youth Club, Widnes organised and participated in a sponsored bike ride on Saturday 11th July. The young men embarked on a 20 mile route in aide of a cancer charity
The young men were extremely enthusiastic during the ride and encouraged each other continuously. All the young men said that it was a positive event and they would like to do it again, with one young man stating, "I was very tired at the end of the day, but can't wait for the next one".
They recognise how engaging in positive activities like this is good for them and good for the community. The bike ride was a part of Halton Youth Services celebration of National Youth Weekend, and alongside this hosted a number of events for young people across the borough of Halton .
