The Cheshire and Merseyside Young Minister of Health

undefined

Are you a young person from Cheshire or Merseyside?  (That’s Liverpool, Cheshire, Knowsley, Sefton, St Helen’s, Warrington, Wirral, or Halton).   Are you passionate about young people’s health issues?

Would you like to meet other young people from across the area and work together to try and improve the health young people and the health services they receive? Then why not become a Young minister of health.

Hmm tell me more.........

The Cheshire and Merseyside Young Minister of Health is a new group for young people who want to make a difference to the health of young people. We will work together to gain the views of young people from the area using video skills and websites and our own common sense to work out what are the big health problems young people in Cheshire and Merseyside face, and campaign to get things changed

That’s nice but I bet no one listens to them

Two young people from the Young Ministers of Health will be full members of The NHS Child Health Development Programme Board. This is a group of important health type people from across Cheshire and Merseyside whose job it is to improve the health of young people.  These two young people will be a full part of this group and will be able to make sure the young minsters of health’s voices are heard.

Ok so where does the group meet?

The group will meet at the same time as the UKYP regional meetings about once every two months. This means they will meet in different places across the North West – but your youth worker will be able to help you with transport. The First meeting is on 9th March in St Helen’s

Great, how do I take part?
